Oooooo, Halloween!

Halloween snuck up on us after focusing on Morgan's birthday. We carved pumpkins, which was hilarious. Check out the pictures to see what they chose for their pumpkins. Next came costume planning. The girls knew what they wanted to be, then changed at the last minute. We decided to be creative. Morgan was a country singer, complete with big hair, lots of makeup, and big jewelry. Brooke was a cowgirl riding a horse, a horse whose legs kept tripping little Brookie. And little Miss Haylie was a bunny rabbit hooked on candy and Halloween. Aubrey dressed up as Baby Papa (Joe) and looked great!

Ronnie was working for the first Halloween, so Gma Sandy went with us to help round up the goblins. We picked her up, then met up with Aunt Mimi and Aubrey. Between Gma and Mimi, they had enough candy to skip the door knocking, but we continued for the experience. After the first couple of houses, Haylie quickly learned that when you stand there looking cute, people give you candy. This was the best day idea ever!! She started pulling Gma's finger as hard as she could to hurry her to the next house. Then, she would run right up to the door and wait. After getting a little too worked up, her carrot became a weapon, and Brooke, her victim. Brooke didn't remember trick-or-treating from last year, but Morgan was glad to teach both of them. The girls giggled up and down the streets. We finished up by going to a couple of individual houses and heading home. Haylie had worn herself out, but Morgan and Brooke were troopers!
